Here are a few questions that we get most often regarding Chicago family photography

We are based in Dekalb county in Illinois, but we often travel to neighboring towns.

We definitely travel! We love getting inspired by new environments. There is an added travel fee for cities that are more than an hour from Dekalb county.

I love to take a step back and capture people natural interactions with each other. When it’s needed, I will definitely give guidance with what to do. You won’t be left feeling awkward. Our session will be more of me coming to hang out you while documenting this beautiful season you are in.

Not to worry! I won’t be trying to put them in stiff poses. I’ll just be focusing on documenting the moments of you guys hanging out and loving on each other.

I often do photos and video in the same session. Usually I’ll start with portraits then focus more on filming your everyday moments.

The final number of photos you’ll get depends on the type of session you book.

A lot of love and care goes into perfecting each image. Because of this it usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks to deliver your final photos.

I know that life happens and you may need to reschedule a session. Depending on the type of session you’ve booked you may be able to gift your session spot or reschedule. Please let me know as soon as possible if anyone in your family is sick or showing symptoms so we can try to find a date to reschedule.

Absolutely! I know first hand that deciding what to wear for photos can sometimes feel overwhelming. I provide a guide that gives some helpful hints and suggestions to make you look and feel your best.

Most definitely! Your online gallery comes with multiple professional print options for beautiful, true to color prints.

We do offer a limited number of mini sessions throughout the year. We share these updates with those on our mailing list first . You can sign up on our home page.

I am able to do some light photoshop on something like a blemish or bruise. Other than that, I prefer to capture the beautifully honest, natural and real you! I do my best to get the most flattering angles. I do understand that we all have insecurities and I welcome you to share those with me in your questionnaire.
